Wedding Flower styles
The style or theme of your wedding doesn't stop at flowers it will influence many aspects of your wedding. Your venue, dress, refreshments and of course your all important wedding flowers.
There's lots to choice: elegant, romantic, vintage, traditional, natural, wild, minimal or classic.
Wedding flower colours
If your wedding gown is white or ivory, you won't have any difficulties with the colour of your bouquet. You can co-ordinate your flowers with the color of your bridesmaids' dresses.
Some brides are hesitant about having white flowers together with a white dress. We can add a collar of dark green leaves or other foliage around the bridal bouquet to make sure it stands out beautifully.
Bridal Bouquet - There are a number of popular styles for wedding bouquets: the hand tie, shower, trailing and the sheaf bouquet. But don't be nervous about being creative (or asking us) and coming up with something unusual.
Bridesmaids - Bridesmaids bouquets tend to be a smaller version of the brides and can be (but don't have to be) the same colour or part of the colour used. From £15
Flower girls - Flower girls can have an even smaller version of the bride's bouquet, or a circlet that can be worn on the head, or sometimes a small basket of flowers filled with petals to scatter on the aisle. From £10
Buttonholes - Worn by the groom, the ushers, page boys, father of the bride and groom, or anyone else you want to be part of the wedding party. From £1.50
Corsages - Traditionally worn by the mother of the bride and grooms mothers, but again they are given to female members of the wedding party. Corsages can be very complicated designs or very simple like a buttonhole. From £5
Table arrangements - These are placed in the centre of the tables and can be anything from jam jars, candelabras, floating flowers to extravagant centre pieces. Anything from formal arrangement to relaxed style of jam jars and raffia. From £5
Top table arrangements - Traditionally these are a long and low flower arrangement to sit on the top table. Again you can be creative and choose anything you like. From £15
Pedestals - Large arrangements that can be placed on stands that traditionally sit either side of the alter. From £55
Pew ends - Pew ends arrangements are attached to the ends of pews or chairs as you glide beautifully down the aisle. From £5
Thank you bouquets - It can be popular to give out thank you bouquets with the wedding speeches.
Additional arrangements - Be creative if you have an archway or stair case that could be enhanced with flowers.
